Mission Statement:

kids Inspired by the resiliency of the Congolese people, GSF works in solidarity with local communities to build on their exisiting human resources in creating new opportunities for education, health, and a higher quality of life.


  • Develop a network of K-12 schools in Goma, DRC.
  • Provide full scholarships to students orphaned by AIDS, the 12-year civil war, and the genocide in neighboring Rwanda.
  • Develop GSF schools as multi-purpose community development and welfare institutions.
  • Support future employment through training in work-related skills and entrepreneurship.
  • Support local community efforts to rebuild and capitalize on available human resources and skills in the critical period following the peace accords.
  • Channel resources and assistance from international educators, students, and other interested individuals into North Eastern Congo.
